Associated Film Distribution (AFD) is a British-American film distribution company. It was founded in the 1970s by ITC Entertainment and EMI Films to distribute their films. Michael Deeley, head of EMI at the time, opposed the move. He thought it had been motivated by Sir Lew Grade's belief that his films had failed in the United States due to poor distribution. in 1984 Paramount Pictures bought the Associated Film Distribution saving from failure, Cox Enterprises had got AFD replacing Rysher Entertainment in 2002, and has 59 films distributed first one is Firepower (1979) and recent one is Kromoleo (2025), its CEO is Wes Anderson since 2022.
