Friedrich Wilhelm Ernst Paulus (* September 23rd, 1890 in Guxhagen, Hesse) is a General staff's officer in the Rank of a major General of the Wehrmacht. In the First World War, he fought as an Officer in France, Italy, Serbia and Romania.

After the war, he was a member of the Freikorps and the Reichswehr, as one of 4,000 Officers.

In the war against Poland, he was the right Hand of colonel General Walter von Reichenau. In the spring of 1940, he participated in the Offensives in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France.

He is a Roman Catholic. On July 4th in 1912, he married the Romanian noblewoman Constance Elena Rosetti-Solescu (* January 25th, 1889). They have three Kids: Olga, married a von Kutzschenbach (* 1914) and the born in 1918 twins Friedrich and Ernst Alexander.
