Henry A. Wallace (* October 7th 1888) is a Politician in the United States for the Democrats, but only since 1932 - during 1909–24 he still was a supporter of the Republicans, and of the Progressives afterwards. Since 1933, he is the Secretary of Agriculture in Franklin D. Roosevelt's cabinet, for which he's qualified as the founder of the Firm "Hi-Bred Corn Company". He supports the "New Deal"-Politics of Roosevelt, centralised the administration of agriculture in the USA, but also helped creating a law against soil erosion. Since World War II started in Europe in 1939, he speaks for Roosevelt candidating for a third term, which no US President has ever had.

He's considered to be eccentric - he speaks fluent Russian, changed his church several times, communicates with an Astrologian and follows the Theosopher "Guru" Nicholas Roerich. Most of all, he has uncommon views: He is against segregation in the southern US, and no enemy of the Soviet Union.

A certain Rexford Tugwell works for him.
