Hermann Hoth (* April 12th 1885 in Neuruppin, Prussian province of Brandenburg) is a Veteran of the First World War who rose through the ranks of the Wehrmacht up to General. During the rearmament of Nazi Germany, he built up the XVth Army Corps (motorised), which participated in the campaigns in Poland and now in Belgium. In the Hierarchy, he's under Günther von Kluge/Gerd von Rundstedt/Walther von Brauchitsch/Adolf Nazi.
His first Son Hans Joachim was born in 1913.
Hoth is knowledgeable in Russian, which is why he was sent on secret Missions to the Soviet Union during the Weimar Republic.
