The first new Six:[]
- 25th of May 1940 (PoD): The Panzer troops of Guderian take Dunkirk, therefore the last accessible harbor for the 400,000 cut-off Brits and French is lost.
- 2nd of June: BEF capitulates at Ypres
- 2nd to 9th of June: Wehrmacht advances to the Seine
- 7nd to 9th of June: British Troops (somewhat more than 10,000) evacuated from Le Havre.
- 8th of June: Italy declares war on the Allies.
- 9th of June: Last Norwegians capitulate
- 10th of June: The Wehrmacht occupies Paris; Spain occupies Tangier.
- 10th to 12th of June: The Sowjetunion occupies Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
- 12th to 19th of June: Close to 150,000 Allied Soldiers evacuated from France.
- 14th of June: Free France proclaimed in London by Charles de Gaulle. Meanwhile, Vichy France under Philippe Pétain is ready for an Armistice.
- 19th of June: Armistice between the Axis Powers and France effective.
- 22nd of June: The Sowjetunion occupies Bessarabia and northern Bukovina. That's why on June 28th, the Romanian government falls.
- 25th of June: Winston Churchill acknowledges Free France as the legitimate government in exile.
- 27th of June: "Operation Catapult": Great Britain strikes against the French Fleet at Oran.
- 30th of June: The Wehrmacht occupies the Channel Islands.
- 4th of July: Romania leaves the League of Nations.
- 9th of July: Italo Balbo has the Troops in Libya invade the Kingdom of Egypt.
- 13th of July: The axis-hostile Japanese cabinet Yonai falls after minister of war Hata steps back. New Prime minister is Prince Konoye, new minister of war is Hideki Tojo.
The second new Six:[]
- Mid-July 1940 (PoD): SD and Gestapo break the back of the "Schwarze Kapelle" ("Black Orchestra") in the Abwehr. Hans Oster, Dohnanyi, and Josef "Ochsensepp" ("Ox Joe") Müller have to give up their offices and are put under House arrest.
- 16th of July: The "Führer" orders "Operation Sea Lion", the planned Invasion of Great Britain.
- 18th of July: With the Generalfeldmarschall Ceremony, more than a Dozen of the supreme commanders of the Wehrmacht are promoted.
- Second half of July: Wilhelm Canaris, on his trip through Southern Europe, cannot give useful advice to Franco and Pétain how to sabotage the collaboration with the Nazis (different to OTL).
- Until and incl. August: The Italian colonial troops can advance over 100 km against the much weaker British Troops in Egypt, Kenya, and the Sudan, and conquer all of British Somaliland.
- Early August: As support for Seelöwe, "Unternehmen Adlerangriff" (Operation Eagle Attack) is started, big-scale Bombardment of Britain.
- 8th of August: "Adlertag" (Eagle Day), so far biggest aerial attack on Britain.
- 11th of August: Karl Dönitz orders to notch up the security of submarine Enigma up to M-4. Until October, this order is executed.
- 14th of August: Hardest day of the "Battle of Britain". The Germans lose almost 100 planes, the Brits around 70.
- 18th of August: Leon Trotsky murdered in his Exile in Mexico; his bodyguards afterwards kill the assassin, Ramon Mercader.
- Around 1st of September: Beginning of the Dictatorship of Ion Antonescu in Romania, abdication of King Carol II in favor of his Son Mihai I.
- September: After both operations failed to reach their objectives by far, "Seelöwe" is officially postponed for 1941.
- Tripartite Pact made.
- Churchill becomes new head of the Conservative Party, after Chamberlain had to step back for health reasons.
- Mid-October: Adolf Nazi meets at first in Montoire with Pétain, two days later in Hendaye with Franco. While they both don't give in as much as he'd wish, but there's quite some Collaboration of Vichy France (incl. rights to pass through Tunisia), and Franco would be willing to participate in a military Operation against Gibraltar - albeit with high demands.
- 28th of October: «Όχι» Day: Italy gives Greece an Ultimatum, which is declined. Thus, there is war.
- Early November: Italian colonial troops under Italo Balbo have reached Marsa Matruh, but are stuck now. Around the same time, the Italian Offensive in Greece fails.
Interlude:[]
- 5th of November: US Elections of 1940. Roosevelt defeats Wendell Willkie with 468 to 63 electors.
- Death of Neville Chamberlain.
- 9th of November: In the Battle of Taranto, the Brits damage three battleships, one light cruiser, and two destroyers of the Italians, while losing just three planes.
- 11th of November: Greek counter-offensive begins.
- Other than in OTL, there is no Automedon incident. Hence, no secret documents of the Brits fall into Japanese hands, since the SS Automedon isn't caught by the German auxiliary cruiser Atlantis.
- 4th of December: The "Führer" approves Unternehmen Merkur (Operation Mercury).
- 6th of December: British ambassador in the USA Lord Lothian dies. His Post goes to so-far Foreign minister Lord Halifax, who's replaced by Anthony Eden.
- Turn of the year 1940/41: Fliegerkorps X under Hans Geisler arrives in Sicily. 20 German subs go to the Mediterranean.
- Early February 1941: German battleships Scharnhorst and Gneisenau try to break out into the Atlantic, but are caught in a trap by the Royal Navy, so both are sunk by the battleship Hood. Because of this, Raeder is succeeded on the 24th of April by Dönitz, who'll prefer his submarines from now on.
- March: Erwin Rommel defeats the Brits in Egypt in "Unternehmen Sonnenschirm" (Operation Parasol) and advances as far as El Alamein.
- US Congress passes Lend and Lease.
- For a lack of Troops (late consequence of Dunkirk), there's no British landing on the Lofotes.
- 13th of March: Prince regent Pavle of Yugoslavia joins the Axis. On the very same day, a Putsch against him happens, during which he is killed. The country is thus drawn into the war, defeated in the same Month, and divided. Croatia and Montenegro become independent.
- Spring: Putsch of the "Golden Square" in Iraq, which is defeated by the Brits until the End of June.
- End of March: Thanks to better Enigma Security, the Italians avoid the Sea battle of Cape Matapan.
- April: German Invasion and occupation of Greece.
- Japan makes a Non-aggression pact with the Soviet Union for five years.
- May: Rudolf Hess flies to Scotland, wants to negotiate a peace, but is arrested and declared insane by the "Führer".
- Konrad Zuse finishes the Z3, the first Digital computer. It uses the Binary system, Postfix Notation, floating point arithmetic, separates RAM and hard disk.
- Late May: Crete occupied by German parachutists (Operation Mars).
- June: After no convoy has made it to Malta for months, the island group capitulates and is occupied by the Axis powers.
The third new Six:[]
- 12th of June 1941 (ZdA): Beginning of Operation Barbarossa, ten days earlier and with twelve German Divisions more than in OTL.
- Early July: Wehrmacht standing in the South of Estonia and near Smolensk, but hasn't reached yet Dniepr in Ukraine as planned.
- August: Soviets and Brits invade Iran together.
The fourth new Six:[]
- September 1941: In Unternehmen Goldfuchs (Operation Golden Fox), Finnish General Siilasvuo destroys a whole Soviet division in central Karelia and thus opens the Way to the East. This leads to the conquest of all of Karelia and the Kola peninsula with Murmansk.
- 9th of September: Soviet General (and "Comrade" Stalin's drinking buddy) Semyon Budyonny dies when his plane is shot down, when it leaves the encircled Kiev.
The fifth new Six:[]
- Autumn/fall: Hideki Tojo becomes the new (40th) Prime minister of Japan.
- October: A British Bomb destroys the Neue Reichskanzlei, which causes the wrath of the "Führer". Secret negotiations with the SU started.
- First half of October: The Winter Rasputitsa begins across the whole country, the German advance gets stuck.
- Early November: Frost makes the muddy Ways in Russia freeze, the Germans can advance again.
- 11th of November: Official armistice between the "Reich" and the Soviet Union.
- 28th of November: The "Ostfrieden" ("Eastern Peace") between the Axis powers and the Soviet Union is made.
- 30th of November: Surprise attack of the Japanese on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
- 1st of December: USA and Britain declare war on Japan.
- Japan starts the Invasion of Thailand, Malaya, and the Philippines.

- 6th of December: The "Caudillo" gives his final agreement for Operation Felix.

- Early March: Capitulation of the Allies on Java.

- Mid-1943: "Palace revolution" against Churchill, Eden takes over as head of the Party and Prime minister.
