Siegmund Wilhelm Walther List (* May 14th, 1880 in Oberkirchberg near Ulm, Württemberg) is a Veteran of the First World War and a colonel-General of the Wehrmacht.
In the early 1920s, List participated with the Freikorps Epp in diverse fights against the Räterepublik (council republic).
As commander of the 14th Army, List participated in World War II in 1939 in the invaion of Poland. In the War in the West, his army (now renamed to 12th Army) was part of Heeresgruppe A, in the center of the Front.
In the Hierarchy, he serves under Gerd von Rundstedt/Walther von Brauchitsch/Adolf Nazi.
In 1911, he married Hedwig Kleinschroth. They have three Kids.
